John Mather

John was born in 1830 in Whitefield.¹

John's father was John Mather and his mother was Mary Allen. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Robert, Ann, Rachel, Mary, Fanny and Sarah.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 66 on January 14th, 1896 in Whitefield.  He was buried in January 1896 in Stand.²
