James Mather

James was born in June 1847 in Bolton and his baptism took place on July 18th, 1847 at St. Peter's (Bolton) conducted by Curate .¹²

James' father was William Crossland Mather and his mother was Alice Stephenson. His paternal grandparents were William Mather and Martha Bleakley. He had a brother named James. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 2 in January 1850 in Bolton. His burial was on January 24th, 1850 at St. Peter's (Bolton).³
