Henry Mather

Henry was born in 1829 in Turton.¹

Henry's father was Henry Mather and his mother was Mary Chadwick. His paternal grandparents were William Mather and Margaret (Peggy) Ashworth. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, William, Charles and Caroline. He was the third oldest of the five children.

General Notes
- In 1851, Henry ("Hy", 20, Married) was with his mother Mary Mather (53) and two siblings visiting Henry Blackledge (40) at East Sculcoates, Yorkshire.
  
  The Henry, son of Hanry that married in Deane in 1862 is another, a miner from Little Hulton.
