Ellen Mather

Ellen was born on October 26th, 1825 in Atherton and her baptism took place on December 25th, 1825 in Chowbent.¹

Ellen's father was John Mather and her mother was Mary Harrison. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Ellen Green. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert, John, Thomas, John, Richard, Betty, Mary, Jane and Ann. She was the seventh oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 85 in 1910 in Atherton.²
