Elizabeth Mather

Elizabeth was born in March 1862 in Tonge-with-Haulgh.¹

Elizabeth's father was John Mather and her mother was Lydia Nightingale. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Martha Austin. She had a brother and two sisters, named James, Ann and Ellen. She was the oldest of the four children.
