Elizabeth (Eliza) the daughter of Ellis Mather, was baptised at Eccles, married 1828 (replationship confirmed by christian names and household group).
10 Feb 1828 married James Grundy, and then continued to live with father at Mather's fold, Little Hulton in 1841. Betty named her first son Ellis after her father.
In 1841, James and Betty (both 30) were at Mather Fold, Little Hulton with Ellis (10), James (8), John 3) and Ann (8mo). Also Moses Mather (65) and Moses Mather (15).
In 1851, James and Elizabeth were publicans and had (and were living at) the Railway Tavern, Green Lane, Worsley. By 1861, then had moved to the Shaving Lane Public House is Worsley (then publican and farmer).
