Eliza Mather

Eliza was born in 1813 in Ramsbottom and her christening took place on August 22nd, 1813 in Holcombe.¹²

Eliza's father was Bold (Bould) Mather and her mother was Margaret Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Eckersley. She had a sister named Nancy. She was the younger of the two children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, John, James, Ann, Mary and Mary. She died at the age of 67 in December 1880 in Bolton.³
