Betty Mather

Betty was born on April 29th, 1802 in Bolton and her baptism took place on April 29th, 1802 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹

Birth Notes

Betty's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Alice Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Mather and Hannah Dale. She had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Rachel, Margaret, Mary and Betty. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 1 in 1803.
