Ann Mather

Ann was born in 1816 in Farnworth and her baptism took place on June 11th, 1816 at Halshaw Moor Independant.^1 2

Ann's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Betty Johnson. She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Rachel and Elizabeth.  She was the second youngest of the four known children.  She died at the age of 34 in 1850 in Farnworth.³
