John Hopley

John was born in 1791 in Shocklach and his baptism took place there on December 22nd, 1791.¹

Birth Notes

John's father was John Hopley and his mother was Anne Morgan. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Catherine Lewis. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James, Samuel, Ann, Ann, Elizabeth, Sarah and Catherine. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
