Emily was born on February 3rd, 1877 in St. Ives, Huntingdonshire.¹

  Emily Sophia Stocks was aged 33 in 1911

Emily's father was William Hopkins and her mother was Ellen Cousins. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Herbert, George, Jemima, Georgiana, Gertrude and Minnie. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 69 in December 1946 in Birkenhead.²
