Mary Holt

Mary was born in March 1737 in Sharples and her baptism took place on March 25th, 1737 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Mary's father was Ralph Holt and her mother was Mary Taylor. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, John, James, Thomas, William, Jane and Betty.  She was the youngest of the eight known children.  She died at the age of 81 in January 1819 in Middle Hulton.  She was buried on January 22nd, 1819 at St. Mary (Deane).²
