  (Wildhouse is just East of Rochdale, so probably the wrong family)

James' father was Thomas Holt and his mother was Ann Meadowcroft. He had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Mally, Betty and Ann. He was the youngest of the five children. He died in April 1765 in Harwood. His burial was on April 8th, 1765 in Bolton.²²
