Ida was born on May 30th, 1893 in Saddleworth.1   Ida's father was Joseph Hinchliffe and her mother was Frances Whitehead.  Her paternal grandparents were John Hinchliffe and Sarah Buxton; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Whitehead and Ann Mallalien.  She died at the age of 53 in 1946 in Saddleworth.2
