George Hill

George was born in 1852 in Bolton.¹   George's father was John Hill and his mother was Harriet Rosthorn. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Benjamin and Christiana.  He was the youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers named James and William.
