Ann was born in 1812 in Turton.¹

Birth Notes

Ann's father was John Haslam and her mother was Mary Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Alice Entwistle. She had five brothers and a sister, named William, John, Charles, Thomas, Isaac and Ellen. She was the oldest of the seven children.
