John Hopley Harris

John was born in 1770 in Shocklach and his baptism took place there on March 11th, 1770.¹   John's father was John Harris and his mother was Mary Hopley.  His maternal grandparents were John Hopley and Sarah Harris. He had a brother and a sister, named Joseph and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the three children.
