      EDDOWES - May 7th, aged 63 years, at Beast Market, Wrexham, George Eddowes, late R.W.F.
George was born in 1830 in Abenbury (Fawr & Fechan).1  George's father was John Eddowes and his mother was Mary Whitfield.  His paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Elizabeth Jones; his maternal grandparents were John Whitfield and Mary Tomlinson. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Edwin, Thomas, John, William, Matthew, Elizabeth, Mary, Esther, Mary and Lydia.  He died at the age of 63 on May 7th, 1893 in Wrexham.  He was buried on May 6th, 1893 in Wrexham.2 3

‌George and Mary were married in a civil ceremony in September 1849 in Wrexham.7  They had four sons and two daughters, named George, John, Arthur, Edwin, Elizabeth and Emma.  There are no more children.
