In 1840 Frances of Beford, Leigh, daughter of Thomas Eddowes, a Maltser married James Partington at Leigh. James Eddowes (assumed brother) was witness.
In 1841, Frances Partington (20, Independant) was living in Salford with Thomas and Sarah Buckley, a builder, while James was away.
Known as "Fanny" in 1851
1861 James, a painter, and "Fras" (46 & 39) were at Regent Road, Salford with their three daughters. The record shows Frances was born at Wrexham
James and Frances both died in November 1865, just 6 days appart.
