Elizabeth Ann Eddowes

Elizabeth was born in March 1878 in Birkenhead.¹

Elizabeth's father was John Eddowes and her mother was Phoebe Parry. Her paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Whitfield; her maternal grandparents were John Parry and Martha Dutton. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Albert, George, Martha, Mary, Emily and Clara. She was the youngest of the eight children.

- In 1887 and 1890 Elizabeth lost both parents.
  
  In 1891, Elizabeth Ann Eddowes was living at the Nagg's Head in Dutton Cacca, Denbishire with Edward and Mary A Griffiths (her aunt).
  
  Elizabeth's olders sister Martha died in 1901 and Elizabeth went to stay with Isaiah White to help look after the family.
  
  Living at 6 Brook Street, Birkenhead in 1911 with Mary Ellen George (head) and Pheobe George.
