Charles may have moved to Silkstone with Stainborough, where he married Ann Pontifract in 1785 (or Mary Jump 20 Feb 1776 by license at Croston near Layland, Lancashire).
Actually, on 27 Nov 1791, Charles (37y) married Hannah Oxley at Almondbury. This is confirmed by her Almondbury burial in 1801, recorded as wife of Charles of Newsome, aged 50 (so of a similar age).
In 1801, Charles was still alive living at Newsome when his wife Hannah died.
Charles and Hannah were married in a religious ceremony on November 27th, 1791 in Almondbury. There are no children.
