Peter William Clarkson

Peter was born in June 1856 in Little Bolton.¹

Peter's father was William Clarkson and his mother was Sarah Collings. His paternal grandparents were Richard Clarkson and Mary Rainford; his maternal grandparents were William Collings and Maria Mather. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Adam, Maria, Sarah and Mary. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 in December 1926 in Blackburn.²
