William was born in Stockport (MMN = WOOD or HOWARD).
In 1881, (possibly another) William Buckley (14) and Elizabeth Young (13) and their families were neighbours at Little Budworth. Another William (14) was a servant for Ellen Moss at Little Budworth. However, both these Williams are born at Little Budworth.
In 1889, William married Elizabeth Young at Great Budworth St Mary. They soon had a son Samuel who died an infant.
In 1891, William and Elizabeth (25 & 23) were at 1 Rathbones Place, Castle Northwich. William was a General Labourer.
In 1901, William and Elizabeth (35 & 33) were at 1 Rathbones Place, Castle Northwich.
