Joseph Brereton

Joseph was born in January 1816 R Hurleston and his baptism took place on January 18th, 1816 in Acton by Nantwich.¹

Joseph's father was Randle Brereton and his mother was Elizabeth Sadler. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Hannah Vicars. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named George, James, James, Ann, Hannah, Sarah, Ann, Martha, Mary and Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 31 in February 1847 R Hurleston. His burial was on February 9th, 1847 in Acton by Nantwich.²²
