Thomas Blackburn

Thomas was born on September 22nd, 1796 in Almondbury and his baptism took place there on October 16th, 1796.¹

Thomas' father was Matthew Blackburn and his mother was Ann Oldfield. His paternal grandparents were Michael Blackburn and Hannah Scover. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Michael, John, Hannah, Sarah and Ann. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 on March 30th, 1854 in Newsome. His burial was on April 2nd, 1854 in Almondbury.²²
