Reenste was born on April 2nd, 1700 in Bagband, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany and her christening took place there on April 2nd, 1700. Reenste's father was Johann Trauernicht and her mother was Lücke Janßen. Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Alberti Trauernicht and Marya Kly; her maternal grandparents were Johann Renken and Rickmet Ubben.
