William (Bubba) Randell Shockley

William, known as Bubba, was born on September 24th, 1926 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.¹ Bubba's father is Shockley and his mother was Ethel Mai Hooberry. His maternal grandparents were Jacob Monroe Hooberry and Catherine Friedericke Trauernicht. He had a brother named John. He had a half-sister named Barbara. He died at the age of 56 on August 30th, 1983 in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee. The funeral took place in Waller Funeral Home, Nolensville, Williamson County, Tennessee. He was buried at the Nolensville Cemetery, Nolensville, Williamson County, Tennessee.¹¹

Survived by mother, Mrs. Ethel Hooberry Burke of Brentwood; brother John W. Shockley of Whites Creek, Tn.; sister, Mrs. Barbara Baltz of Brentwood. Remains are at Waller Chapel in Nolensville where funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev. Edward Arnold officiating. Graveside service and Interment Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at Nolensville Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Robert Hollister, Dr. Charles Morton, Dr. Jeff Bethurum. Active Pallbearers: Jody, Jack, Tim and Paul Baltz; Greg Shockley, Robert Oechsel. Waller & Co., 776-2128.
