Susan was born on October 9th, 1826 in Kentucky.1   Susan's father was George Patton and her mother was Sarah J Howard.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 87 on February 23rd, 1914.



Susan's family

Susan and Samuel were married in a religious ceremony in 1850.  They had two sons and a daughter, named William, Robert and Caroline.
