Thelma was born on March 1st, 1918 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska and her baptism took place on March 1st, 1918.1   Thelma's father was Thee H Jurgens and her mother was Tina Parde. She had four brothers and five sisters, named P.J., Henry, Heinrich, Wilfred, Maria, Katie, Maria, Arina and Carline.  She died at the age of 79 on January 20th, 1998 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.  The funeral took place on January 23rd, 1998 at Zion Lutheran Church, Pickrell, Gage County, Nebraska.  She was buried on January 23rd, 1998 in Pickrell, Gage County, Nebraska.1 1 




Thelma's family

Thelma and Martin were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1935 at Zion Lutheran Church, Pickrell, Gage County, Nebraska.1   They had two sons and two daughters, named Lorenz, Richard, Vivian and Hilda Mae.
