Marian was born about 1936 in Nebraska.1   Marian's father was Peter (P.J.) John Jurgens and her mother was Tena.  Her paternal grandparents were Thee H Jurgens and Tina Parde. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Ernest, Harold, Arlene, Alice and Lois.
