Glennan was born on December 16th, 1914 in Lawrence County, Missori.1   Glennan's father was Albert H. Gripka and his mother was Barbara Korba.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Gripka and Mary Daus. He had a sister named Gertrude.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died due to a cardiac arrest, Cardiac Failure Embolism , at the age of 24 on September 3rd, 1939 in Verona General Hospital, Verona, Lawrence County, Missouri.  He was buried on September 5th, 1939.1 1
