Martha Blase

Martha was born on February 3rd, 1893.¹ Martha's father was Freidrich (William) Wilhelm Blase and her mother was Maria (Mary) Dorothea Wilhelmina Brunnworth. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Curt Brunnworth and Dorothee (Sophia) Sophie Charlotte Buettemeier. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Fred, Albert, William, Martin, Sophie, Minnie, Louise, Lena, Marie and Emma. She was the third youngest of the twelve children.
