Sarah Emeline was born on October 3rd, 1841 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA. Sarah Emeline's father was John Taylor and her mother was Catherine Phillips. Her paternal grandparents were William Taylor and Ann Wilson. She had a brother and two sisters, named Ephraim P., Ann Caroline and Euphemia. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 48 on June 14th, 1890 in Marion, Linn, Iowa, USA. She was buried in Oak Shade Cemetery.-
