Erixene was born on August 20th, 1797 in North Carolina, USA.1   Erixene's father was William Morrison and her mother was Abigail McEwen.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Morrison and Sarah. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James McEwen, Hugh Hall, Robert Hall, Sarah, Catherine, Margaret and Jean Erixene.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 62 on May 4th, 1860 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, USA.  She was buried in Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery.1
