Samuel McMahan 
Samuel was born in October 1802 in West Chillisquaque, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, USA. Samuel's father was Capt. John McMahan and his mother was Jane Murray. His paternal grandparents were John McMahan and Margaret Murray; his maternal grandfather is John Murray. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Benjamin, Thomas, William, Hannah, Margaret and Mary. He died at the age of 12 on July 24th, 1815 in West Chillisquaque, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, USA. He was buried in Chillisquaque Cemetery.-
