Ulysses Simpson was born on March 21st, 1875 in Adair County, Kentucky, USA.1   Ulysses Simpson's father was William Simpson Gaddis and his mother was Rebecca Jane Coffey.  His paternal grandfather is Thomas John Gaddis. He had a brother and seven sisters, named William Green, Bernetta, Jane R, Etta R, Ida B, Polly A, Pearl M and Elsie B.  He died at the age of 69 on February 1st, 1945 in Mitchell, Lawrence, Indiana, USA.  He was buried in Mitchell City Cemetery.2 3
