John was born about 1624 in England.1   John's father was Edmund Farrington and his mother was Elizabeth Newhall.  His maternal grandfather is Newhall. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Mathew, Thomas, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He died on May 2nd, 1666 in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts, USA.2
