Frances Marion was born on August 16th, 1854 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, USA.1   Frances Marion's father is Andrew Cook and his mother is Patsy Griffith.  His maternal grandparents are Milo Griffith and Mary L Goodman.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 79 on November 6th, 1933 in Marion, Lawrence, Indiana, USA.  He was buried in Bass Cemetery.2
