William Henry was born on April 28th, 1878 in Alabama, USA.1   William Henry's father was William Britt and his mother was Lucy Ann "Babe" Howard.  His paternal grandparents were William Henry Britt and Elizabeth Wilkinson; his maternal grandparents were William Issac Howard and Lucinda Goss. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Eddie Columbus, Thornton Napolion, John M., Marlin Luther, Amanda Georgia Ann, Sarah Ann, Dora Lee, Allie Madie and Mary Ida.  He died at the age of 63 on December 19th, 1941 in Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama, USA.  He was buried on December 20th, 1941 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.1 1
