Amelia Catherine Briscoe 
Amelia Catherine was born in 1858. Amelia Catherine's father was Samuel M. Briscoe and her mother was Margaret Jane McCown. Her maternal grandparents were James M. McCown and Nancy Mourning Lewis. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Winfield Scott, William Lewis, Dulsena Jane, Elizabeth Mourning and Darthula. She died at the age of 98 in 1956.-
