Sh Rokiah's father was Sy Ali.  Her paternal grandfather was Sy Mohsin.  She had eleven brothers and four sisters, named Tuan Muda, Sy Omar, Sy Akil, Busu, Sy Bakar, Idrus, Sy Jaafar, Sy Hussin, Sy Yassin, Tuan Hitam, Tuan Tot, Sh Cik, Sh Bahyah, Tuan Konet and Sh Andak.  Sh Rokiah is no longer alive.
