Sh Azmah's father was Sy Agil and her mother was Sh Esah (Tuan Nong).  Her paternal grandfather was Sy Muhsin; her maternal grandfather was Sy Ali  and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>.  She had six brothers and three sisters, named Sy Hamdan, Dor, Sy Toha, Sy Muhammad, Sy Syeh, Sy Nasir, Sh Zaharah, Sh Mastura and Sh Salmah.
