Thomas O'Neill 
Thomas was born in 1871 in Durham, England.. Thomas' father was Patrick O'Neil and his mother was Ann. He had two brothers and a sister, named Patrick, James and Mary. He was the oldest of the four children.
Thomas and Ellen were married in a religious ceremony in August 1896 in Auckland Durham, England.. They had a son and five daughters, named Patrick, Annie, Julia, Mary, Elizabeth and Catherine.

Death Notes
Married in 1923. Elizabeth was a singer (soprano) and prior to her marriage lived in London and earned a living as a singer in the silent movies - RoseMarie became her 'most famous'. The orignal film is now unobtainable. Her death certificate shows that she died from Septicaemia caused from a spot on her face becoming infected. She was 29 years old. Her husband took the children back to India.
Mary O' Neil
Mary was born in 1904 in Brandon, Co Durham. She died at the age of 8 in 1912 in Durham, England.. She was buried on June 13th, 1912 in Durham, England. Burnopfield.
Elizabeth O' Neil
Elizabeth was born in 1905 in Winlanton, Co Durham. She died at the age of 26 in August 1931 in Islington, London.
Catherine O' Neil
Catherine was born on October 2nd, 1916 in Gateshead, Co Durham.. She died at the age of 55 in 1971 in Luton, Bedfordshire.
