Michael Murphy

Michael was born on December 19th, 1875 in Frenchfort and his baptism took place on December 20th, 1875 in Oranmore.  Michael's father was James (Jim) Murphy and his mother was Cecelia Crowe. He had a brother and five sisters, named Edward, Catherine, Mary, Hanoria, Margaret and Bridget.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.
