John Hernan

John was born on September 23rd, 1891 in Oughterard.  John's father was Owen Hernan and his mother was Kate Duffy.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 76 on November 9th, 1967 in Galway Hospital.

‌John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on July 14th, 1917 in Castlegar, Galway by priest R. McHugh and witnessed by William Duffy, Ellen Malloney.  They had a daughter named Mary .
