Mary, known as Molly, was born in 1892 in New Inn.  Molly's father was Patrick Hawkins and her mother was Mary Fallon.  Her paternal grandparents were Patk Hawkins and Bridget Deely; her maternal grandparents were Michael (Mick) Fallon and Brid?ly Horan. She had two brothers and a sister, named Patrick, Michael and Bridget.  She was the youngest of the four children.
