John Gilbert

John was born on August 8th, 1817 in Glengoole.  John's father was Laurence Gilbert and his mother was Margaret Donnell. He had a brother and four sisters, named Ned, Nelly, Ann, Mary and Peg.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
