Martin Flanagan

Martin & Delia Flanagan Headstone

Martin was born on July 25th, 1900.  Martin's father was Patrick Flanagan and his mother was Ellen  Moran.  His paternal grandparents were Patrick (Patt) Flanagan and Bridget (Biddy) Fahy; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Moran and Honor Hayes. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Patrick, Thomas, Michael, Delia, Bridget, Honoria, Mary and Margaret.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 89 on September 18th, 1989.  The funeral took place in Clarenbridge.  He was buried in Clarenbridge.
