John Casey

John was born on August 2nd, 1870 in Ballincurry and his baptism took place on September 2nd, 1870 in Ballingarry.  John's father was James Casey and his mother was Jane Fogarty.  His paternal grandparents were Michael Casey and Margaret Connors; his maternal grandparents were James Fogarty and Eliza Bermingham. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Edward, Michael, Mary and Margaret.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 76 on September 12th, 1946 in Gleengoole.

‌John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on May 24th, 1896 in Glengoole.  They had two sons and three daughters, named James, Edmond, Mary, Janie and Bridget.
