Cornelis de Vries

Cornelis' father was Willem de Vries and his mother was Jannigje/Jannije van der Schalie.  His maternal grandparents were Cornelis Corneliszn van der Schalie/Schally and Aeltje of Alida Cornelis van der Borcht of Burg of Borg. He had two brothers named Jacob and Willem.  He was the second oldest of the three children.
